Jerome Dangar, 45, had been paying Barden to perform sexual acts online last year, “ which in turn over three months of contact escalated into degrading and dangerous situations, ” corresponding to a statement from the dead woman’ s mother, Kate.

Authorities investigated charging Dangar with drug trafficking in connection to Barden’ s death after learning that he had been online when she died and would not alert emergency services. Yet , they never got the opportunity.

“ The potential consequences for Dangar, will need to send a strong deterrent meaning to those who engage in such dangerous sexual acts and produce requests of others whilst online, ” Quilty added.
